Career and Academic Background before TAOYAKA Program

I’m Nyi Nyi from Myanmar. I’m working for Ministry of Planning and Finance. I attained my Master, (M.A Economics), from Graduate School of International Relations under International University of Japan – IUJ, Niigata in 2015. During studying in IUJ, my research was about extensive and intensive margins of the external trade of Myanmar.
After graduation from IUJ, I went back to work for two years. Effectively using the knowledge gained from studying in Japan, I got chances to merge my academic concepts and real world situation. Then I realized that attaining advance study leads wider knowledge and broader perspective in approaching the real-world situation. Taoyaka, which meant creating a flexible, enduring and peaceful society, supports my desire for further study.

Research Plan in TAOYAKA Program

My research is focusing on the international trade trend through network approach. Since globalization shaping the world, international trade becomes more complex and connected to each and every person’s daily life. In this case, analyzing international trade from the network approach will definitely allow a new perception and clearer understanding of modern international trade structure.

Career Plan after TAOYAKA Program

Taoyaka program is a combination of different fields, cultural creation, technical creation and social implementation, which provides chances to approach a single situation from different perspectives. By efficiently utilizing the supports of Taoyaka program, I have no doubt to achieve my goal. I can guarantee to try my best for deepening the existing relationships between Japanese people and Myanmar.
