The Second Annual Open Dialogue between Six Universities (June 11.12)

We are happy to announce that the Second Annual Open Dialogue between Six Universities will be held at Hiroshima University on June 11 and 12, 2016.


The six universities are selected in the Composite category (Pluralistic society) of the Program for Leading Graduate Schools, supported by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).  The event is to hold inter-university discussions based on the mutual theme, “Multicultural-Coexistence Society.” However, the event is open to the public. 

Everyone is invited to the open seminar/the keynote speech. We also welcome observers for the rest of the program upon request. For both sessions, please make a reservation via email to TAOYAKA Program Office by June 8th.  Please see the following details.

2) Six Universities’ Poster Presentation: 14:30-15:30

Students will present their program. It will be a great opportunity to explore each program.

Inter-University group of students will be formed for the three topics listed below. Each group will utilize Multicultural x Interdisciplinary approach to discuss and develop their proposals. The proposals will be presented as the final products of the Session. 

Topics:      

1) Challenges and prospects of multidisciplinary approach
2) How to make the best use of Onsite-Knowledge
3) Exploring career options with a doctorate degree in Multicultural x Interdisciplinary approach
